Great Product
Date: April 1, 2008
"My husband and I have two cats - one who loves carpet posts and the other who has refused to use a post at all. We got her this scratcher on a whim and she loves it! Rather than clawing at our doorframes, she scratches the cardboard. We're planning on getting her another one and buying a sisal refill to see how she likes that material.
The only thing I don't like about the scratcher is that it wobbles a little when she uses it (when hanging on the door) although it is braced on the bottom by a plastic piece and tie (supplied) and it would also be nice if it were thicker. But, since it's the first scratcher she's ever used, I can't complain. Once I find out if she likes the sisal material, I'll buy her a larger scratching post as well."

"Waist of money, all my cat wants is the cat nip on the back. He doesn't even go near it anymore."

this works best for my cats
Date: February 1, 2007
"I had tried everything without success. My cats only liked to scratch our soft carpeting-a definite problem. I tried the iscratch system and attached them to doors. I put cat treats on the tops to get them interested, then gave them treats for actual scratching. Soon they were scratching more and more-I still give them treats for scratching after every breakfast and dinner. I keep them on the doors of the rooms they spend the most time in. The cats like that they are stabilized at both the top and bottom of the door. They are easy to use, refill, and move around from door to door. My cats like the cardboard refills best. I tried the others, but they prefer the cardboard (which leaves shredded cardboard to sweep up-a slight nuisance but beats scratching my carpets and furniture). If your cats like the sisal refill, you will love this, since it doesn't leave little shreds on the floor. I am using the sisal refill on one door, and cardboard refill on the others, but they use the cardboard most. This is a wonderful product and solved our scratching problem! Thank you Petco and Iscratch."
