"We recently went on a 12 hr car ride and our dog stayed in this seat for the whole ride. She could sit up and see out the window or sleep in it. My only compaint about it is that it should come with more straps for people (like me) who want to put this in the back seat and don't have a backseat head rest. More straps would make it easier to rig up in the backseat."

"My dog loves the seat. Easy to put together. Easy to clean.
Con: Straps to attach seat to car seat back are of poor quality. I had to replace the straps and fasteners. NOTE: Newer models come with updated upper strap."

"This was a big help for trips, my dog Sebastian loves this car seat and is so much happier and no longer tries to walk all over the car to try to get to me. Now i can be worry free and can feel safer that he is not a distraction. Great product easy to use and clean too."

"I have been searching for something to take my Westie away with us when we go away. This booster seat leaves my Westie safe, and still able to see out of window. I absolutely love this for her,,,it's safe, affordable, convenient, pratical, and she looks really good in it to!!! Also I have an all leather interior, and it leaves no marks on seats, keeps her up off seat, and she is secure. Totally washable, but I still put a nice size heavy towel in for extra bedding for her. She actually will sleep in this as well, when trips may get a little too long for her..she gets bored, and goes to sleep. LOL, she's such a baby. But she must be comfy as well, and that's all that matters is her comfort and safety."

"Solvit Booster Seat is working out Great! Reading the other reviews in advance of making the purchase really helped alot. Definitely purchase the XL which allows your pet to lay down and sleep/rest quite comfortably. Also the seat is high enuf for her to look out the window and enjoy the view!"

"We got this car seat after a less expensive model broke. This one is very sturdy and I like that the straps are behind the dog so she can't chew on them. We have a feisty dog and she is so calm in her car seat. She loves it and can't wait to get in it! She's 12 pounds and we got the medium size which is perfect for her to be able lay down and be comfortable during the car ride."

"We are thrilled with the booster seat for our teacup schnauzer. It was easy to put together and install in the car, either in the front seat or the back. Jackson has a clear view out the windows and enjoys it immensely. I love the idea that the liner can be removed easily to be laundered. The buckles have been improved and are now metal. The best part is the safety factor - he is secure in the seat and out of my lap where he could get injured. Don't hesitate to purchase this seat."

"Having never purchased a car seat for any of my dogs before, this just made sense for taking my baby with me in the car since it's just her and I on the road now. It is well made and she loves it. It did take her a little while to understand that she can no longer try to sneak into my lap, but now she loves it and even naps! (I tried it with her in stages--Sitting in it with the car still, short ride and then gradually longer.) Receiving the product took a little longer than expected since it is shipped direct from the factory, but it was worth waiting for."
