"I have 2 ferrets and this gate is great because they can't climb it or squeze thru it because there are no bars! The only problem is that my doorway is not very even so we have to put pieces of paper on the pressure points to even it out but other than that it's great!"

"My 8 week old Min Pin figured out how to bite through the other gate I had and was pretty proud of himself. However his every attempt of escape has been frustrated by this gate. It's a little taller than expected, but actually that's turned into a BIG PLUS since I see that he's developed a knack for jumping and this gate will definitely keep him where he is supposed to be. Highly recommended!"

"I bought this gate for my 4 ferrets. They can climb over, jump over or squeeze out of every other gate I got but not this one. It fits tightly in the doorway. It is easy to put up. There is no way than can climb it or squeeze thru it because it is a smooth flat surface. I recommend this to anyone with small escaping pets."

"Be sure you adjust it properly and it works GREAT. Our Westie bumps into it and it doesn't budge...but, and I said, it must be adjusted just right. The cat jumps over it with no problem. The appearance is pretty minimal...not as clunky looking as the plastic stuff."

"I have a now 5 month old chihuahua.She chewed thru the other gates and got out.I bought this extra tall gate and she can't chew thru it,but she can jump up and get a hold of the top and pull herself up and still get out.Maybe they oughta make an extra extra tall gate for people who have dogs that just won't quit until they get out.It is over priced if you ask my opinion,but still a good gate if your small dog doesn't have monkey or squirrel in it like mine does(lol)."

"Let me tell you! I could get out of every gate until this bad boy. I could walk through the bars or climb up the netting. Yes, I even burrowed under any "soft gates". I was going to need to be crated every time my mom needed to contain me. Boooo. This gate offers no way around, up or under for a little chihuahua like me. Thank you Petco. Oh and really don't even try some of the others; I climbed up it and could have fallen and bumped my little head. I scared my mom many times. The search for this gate was long and hard, but we found THE WINNER."

"This pet gate is horrible. I could even get it to fit into any of my doorways. I couldn't get it tight enough to where it wouldn't fall down so really what's the point."

"My Pug puppy had climbed over the other baby gates and I needed a new one. Since there aren't any slates for him to grad on to, he can't climb over it and hasn't been able to push it down."

"My australian shepard was able to push thru the plastic portion of this gate after about a month. It is poorly constructed and over priced. If you have a medium size dog or larger I seriously doubt this gate will last you more then a month."
