"We recently adopted an older dog and found out quickly that the wire crate we had was not going to work. He would injure himself trying to get out and was tearing up my house when he was successful. This kennel arrived two days after I ordered it and was so easy to put together. It has definatley provided him with more security and has stopped his need to get out by whatever means necessary. It is so nice to come home and not wonder what damage I am coming home to. The kennel is strong and I feel comforted knowing he will not be able to hurt himself any longer. I would purchase another one in a second if needed without wasting money on a wire crate!"

"I purchased this item with the intention of receiving it in the color blue. I received black which is a different sku number. I think if you are just going to send whatever color you want to-that should be stated on the order information or the description should be changed. The medium size definitely shows it to be the color blue. I love the kennel but am very disappointed in the color. Our pet sleeps in our bedroom and the color blue was needed for the decor."

"I love this kennel! I have gone from an old one that had tabs that turned and eventually broke off rendering it useless, to this one with the screw on holders. This is great. Since I don't need to use it all the time it's nice to know it's so easy to take apart and put back together and that nothing will break off and it won't become useless. I'd suggest this to anyone who wants a quality kennel for an affordable price!."

"I purchased this crate online because it was on sale quite a bit cheaper than in the store. Since my Collie is not crate trained, I didn't know what I needed to look for in a crate for my Basenji.
This one does the trick quite perfectly. Door latches, excellent size and the side 'holes' are perfect for him to look out and view."

"I have used the Vari Kennel before and I have been very satisfied with the durability of it. I was dissapointed this time though when I found there was no longer a floor grill or a water dish provided with the purchase. I found that the "travel kit" that I can buy extra for $15 supplies two small dishes that can no longer be refilled from the outside, a sticker that said "live animals", and not much else. I found that pads or liners for the kennel, but I could also purchase them for additional cost, from about $15 up.
Other than the added cost for what was once free and the inconvenience of having to the extra trouble to get them, the Vari Kennel is satisfactory."

"This crate was well constructed and very sturdy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, strong crate.
I had to return it however because although it fit in my SUV, once inside I could not see out the back window at all.
But overall, very nice quality. It just didn't work with my SUV."

"Its a very good kennel, I bought it for my weim, an extra large, and he fits inside perfectly.
It was very easy to build also.
I bought it for traveling, and know I realize it might be a little difficult for me to carry it by myself. I should have bought one with weels... But still Im happy with it."

"We purchased this crate for our lab puppy about 4 months ago. He loves it! It was by far one of our best purchases we have made! Our puppy finds it very calming and safe. When ever he is tired you can always find him in his crate! We can also leave the house and know that he is safe and not getting into anything that he shouldn't be. This is a wonderful crate if you have a large dog."

"This is an excellent, excellent kennel. There is no way for the dog to get out unless he's Houdini or the owner didn't assemble it correctly. One thing though, they are much bigger than they seem. I bought the one for up to 70 pounds and I swear it could fit a st.bernard."

"I have a Doberman mix who is 6 months old that can get out of this kennel. It has yet to keep him contained. It takes him honestly about 10-15 minutes to push the top latch down and then once that is un-hooked all he has to do is push his head through and then the bottom lock is free and he's out. i wouldn't use this kennel. and to think i was thinking of taking him on the AIRPLANE with us...he would be running around in the cargo area!!!!"

"I have a 1 year old japanese Chin and when i bought her i was told oh she will only be 8 pounds full grown what a lugh!!! she is now 13 pounds and growing. she is also a longer dog so the small varri kennel JR i got her was just NOT going to work so I did some research on kennels for her and found the vari kennel ultra some other medium sized kennels were to big and even to small for her as i like for her to have room to strech out and sleep how ever she wants to. this kennel fits her perfetly and i love the metal side vents and the rear plastic vents as it gives her sunshine on those sunny days wehn im gone and she has to be crated this kennel is very strudy and looks great too i would recomend this kennel to anyone who wants a great kennel at a good price thanks to all at the Eau Claire wisconsin petco for helping me find the perfect fit."

"I am very happy with my choice of kennels for my black lab puppy. This kennel is incredibly sturdy yet easy to disassemble if needed (I bought an XL for him to grow into, and it doesn't quite fit in my car). Ranger is an avid chewer but other than a few purely cosmetic teeth marks under the door has not damaged the kennel, which is impressive considering he has spent a lot of time in it over the last few months while I was living in an apartment."
