"always wanted a metal crate for when we need to house train or take the dogs on an outing-but the price for quality-unbelievable-we have a new dog and need to house train him so I started the search-I bought 2 different metal crates from discount stores-I think my aussie would have taken them apart in 1 day-so I tried Petco online-I can not be any happier-the crate is everything I was looking for-I wanted thick wire with rounded edges-a door that opened at the side and front-leavers that our dogs could not open when they jiggle the crate so they are secure inside-and it is portable-it easily fits in our Jeep-with the discounts Petco was offering I couldn't pass it up!!!"

"My Vizsla broke and destroyed her other crate. She was able to bend the bottom so she could slide the tray out and she would be stuck on the metal through out the day. I tried this crate after reading the reviews on it, and I have to say this crate is wonderful. I bought the extra large so she has plenty on room. She hasn't broken out of it and she has caused no damage to herself or the crate since we have had it. I did move the crate onto carpeting instead on my tile floor but like I said, the is no evidence she has attempted to get out.
I would highly recommend this product."

"I got my dog from a shelter and he is totally out of control; He's mix lab/bloodhound, just over a year old and I just love him; but he was so uncontrolable, barking all the time; jumping all over everything and just seem so miserable!
Then I got this crate! Wow what a difference in his behavior; I put it right in the living room; encourage and pet him a lot; he can see everything going on in the house! He is like a totally different dog and that's after just two days of having this!
I've not left the house with him in it yet! However, I'm anticipating great results here as well!"

"From rugged construction, to 3 doors for convenience, to a divider that divides the cage for "snuggability" as future pups grow, this is a grate crate! And... thanks to that divider, the LAST crate we will have to buy! We went through 3 different sizes to accommodate our growing Golden Retriever! Now, he can hold his head up high, stretch out, and when he quits chewing everything in sight, he'll get a doggy bed in there!"

"I highly recommend these crates. They are sturdy and durable and well designed. I bought a new Great Crate and placed it in between two 5 year old Great Crates and the older crates look just as good as the brand new one - no rust, no pan cracking, finish excellent."

"Great Pen!!! The divider for puppies is wonderful and I'm in love that the handle is removable. Also, because I live in an apartment, having three doors helps me to be able to move the pen anywhere without it taking up an abundant amount of room. I would definitely recommend this to other owners of puppies."

"This crate is highly flexible with the three doors. We have a whippet puppy and has no problem going in and feeling safe. We removed on door and put it up against a Precision play pen so he can sleep in the crate and get up and go potty in the pen. Housetraining has gone extremely well with this. We use the side door and divider to minimize moving the crate around. When he is bigger, we can remove the divider and use the back door. Highly recommend!"

"I bought one of these crates when I got my puppy 18 months ago, and it is safe and sturdy. I used the wire divider when my puppy was small, and I could put her in the other side of the crate while I cleaned up spills, and then later took the wire divider out.
My pooch got a little bigger than I expected so now I have to buy another crate, and I'm buying exactly the same one I bought the first time."

Life Saver!! Happy dog!

"This kennel has been a life saver for me. I have a 1 1/2 year old weimaraner who has seperation anxiety, this is our 3rd kennel.
Our 1st was a big cloth one, he ate it. Our second was the huge plastic kind & he was terrified to go in it, he would hide, & scream bloody murder in it, he even injured his foot trying to claw out. We had tried numerous things to calm him in his big plastic crate toys, treats, and we were about to resort to meds (my husband was ready to get rid of him). That is where this crate, my life saver comes in. I bought the huge one & life could not be happier. Jager, the dog will happily trot into this kennel, he still lets us know that he is not happy, but the screaming, howling, & thrashing that occured in the old plastic kennel is gone.
Our dog used to drool & become quite upset in his old kennel, he would beat himself and thrash in the kennel like a fish out of water, there was no calming him. Unlike his huge plastic kennel he can turn around, fully stand up & stretch out in this kennel, and I think he is much cooler. It is big enough that I can sit in it with him, I'm 5'2".
Yes, this kennel does take up a huge amount of space, but it is worth it. My dog did $2,000.00 worth of damage to one foot in two separate injuries trying to claw out of his plastic kennel & then $3,000.00 in damage to our carpet tearing it down to the concrete when I left him alone in our bedroom while he was healing (yup this much damage in 30 mintues to run & get milk!)
Was this kennel expensive? Yes, but I would have saved major money if this was the first kennel I had bought. Is it heavy? Yes, that is because compared to all of the other kennels I have looked at it is very well made. Save yourself the time & hassel of buying a cheap kennel to only have your dog injure himself escaping & then end up destroying your home.
I had no problem setting this kennel up & I didn't even read the directions. I was able to heave it up two flights of stairs by myself using a dolly. My dog has been using this kennel for 5 months and he is injury free & has not managed to escape. I wish I would have bought this kennel first & when you think about it how would you feel all cooped up in a cramped hot plastic kennel for 4 hours at a time, you'd go a little bonkers too.
Just a little FYI if you google PetCo Free shipping coupons, or PetCo coupons you will be brought to sights that give you codes for discounts, thats what I did to get free shipping & 20% off my order. This is by far one of the best made kennels out there, invest the money now because this is going to be a big part of your dogs life for a long time, you will both be much happier in the long run."

"I bought 8 of these online for my doggy daycare and I have to say - they're awesome. All the dogs love them. They are very well constructed and the dogs can see each other. I've had the kennels for over a month now and the dogs use them everyday for a 2 hour nap. I haven't had one problem. I did some research before I bought and this one seemed to be the best price and make. I did buy these when they were on sale and I'm waiting until they go back on sale to buy more."

"This is a great crate - they can't bend the bars by chewing on them - heavier metal than most crates. The doors can't be opened by pushing like most crates because the door locks make an L shape unlike all other crates! Spend the few extra dollars and get this one - it's worth it. I'm buying a second for my other dog now! It will keep your babies safe and secure!"
