"We bought a bag of this for our ferrets as it was within our limits of a good food..... We are terribly disappointed as it is 80% tiny little bits no bigger than "0" in size. The ferrets love the larger pieces but cannot/will not eat the minute pieces. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and If you have found a way smoooch these little pieces together so they will be eaten."

"I feed my ferrets a mix of good foods this is one of them be sure to look at the food comparison chart online some ingredients in some of the foods out there are NOT good for your babies. Mine love this food."

"I hope this never gets taken off the shelves. I give my ferret two choices for food (the breeders food and this) and he will no longer eat the breeders food if there is some of this still left in the feeder. He will dig and pull it all out to get the last one of this food. I do not live near Petco, so I have to order it online, but he won't run out this time because I have stocked up. He has so much more energy when this food is in his diet. In my opinion, with more energy comes a funnier ferret!"

"I bought this bag about two months ago and I thought it was pretty expensive but you actually do get a lot of food for the price. My ferret is a really picky eater and she dropped dramatic weight ever since I switched her to this food. But the problem may not be in the food. It is because right before eating this crunchy diet, she was being fed the MOIST diet (also by 8-in-1). So from being fed a bowl of what appears to look like FERRET TREATS, to this hard food...yeah, to her, it's a downgrade so I don't blame her from being picky. But ever since I started putting her in her cage, she's actually starting to eat it now."

"this is an excellent high grade food & is the best you can buy your ferret. it has food-grade protein unlike other foods which contain crude protein. it is also crunchy, which helps promote tooth health. we never feed our ferret anything else."

"My ferrets did wonderfully on this food. It has appropriate levels of animal protein and fat. And the first ingredients are ideal. Don't confuse it with the "Ultra" version as it is far lower quality. Ultimate is worth the extra cost as your ferrets will be healthier for it and will not have to eat as much of the food. Also, the better quality the less they and their litter box will smell."
