new adventure
Date: November 18, 2008
"I purchased this for my two indoor only cats zada and chevy. It is well made, looks nice and is very durable. The only negative thing is the front wheel does not turn, but so far it is working well and we are enjoying it alot. It gets the cats out of the house for a new adventure but they are still safe inside the stroller."

Great Christmas Present
Date: January 22, 2008
"My husband bought this present for me for Christmas this year and I love it. My yorkie doesn't walk for long distances and i walk daily. He now loves to walk for a litle while and then loves to ride in his stroller. I have seen a lot of other strollers and I would never trade mine. It is well built and a great purchase.
Thanks Jeep for making such a great product.

sturdy but too small for a 40# dog
Date: November 22, 2007
"I bought this to walk/run with my 40 pound mixed breed (she has the body size of a small Australian shepard)dog to use as she recovers from hip surgery (and is not allowed to walk much until healed). Although this held her weight and was easy to push and maneuver with her in it, it is just too small for her. She cannot lay down completely and if she sits up normally, her head hits the top. The top of the stroller has one zipper that goes all the way across, so it is either completely open or completely closed. It would be much better if there were two zippers that meet in the middle and latch together with a hook or something, so she could have her head exposed, thus making the stroller better for bigger dogs. This product seems very sturdy and well made. The zippers are sturdy. But, it is too small for my pet and I am going to return it."

great stroller
Date: March 3, 2007
"The Jeep Rubicon jogger is a high quality stroller. I have been through a couple of strollers and non of those came even close to the quality of the rubicon. This stroller has bike style wheels that you can actually fill with air. It is a smooth ride. My dog loved it and seemed very comfortable in it. It folds easily and I love the storage basket because I can bring my dog water, treats and toys. I bought this stroller because I have more than one dog and one of them cannot walk long distances. My other dog was not getting the exercise he needed and many times i had to turn around and carry one dog home. This stroller is easy to push and although the front wheel is kept locked, it is not hard to turn. It is a very sturdy stroller and very easy to put together. Definately worth the $$$. I purchased another stroller for about $100 less and it was so hard to stear and the wheels looked like toy wheels. If you enjoy the outdoors this is the stroller to buy, you will not be dissapointed!"

Take a hike with your furry friend!
Date: July 3, 2006
"The Jeep Rubicon Pet Jogger is solidly serious machine. It has the smoothest ride of any pet stroller I've driven seriously (six so far), and as long as you want to go straight ahead, this stroller can be pushed with your little finger. If you plan to exercise with your pet in tow, this stroller will allow you to do so with aplomb--walkathons, 10Ks, it is entirely conceivable that your life will become more active and your horizons broader if you make this stroller a part of your life. Before I wrote this review I used the Jeep Jogger exclusively for a full week, strolling over as many different surfaces as were available, with varying weights of pets in it, including asphalt, gravel, wet and dry grass, packed and loose sand, wooden bridges and hills (no snow at this time of year).
The rear wheel brakes are sure and all the wheels have quick release mechanisms. Being bicycle tires, they also have the added security of local help in times of need, and the compact pump that comes along has a place of its own in the lower basket. I'm sure the air adds to the nice suspension too.
One of the very things that distinguishes the Jeep Jogger from the AT3 (both from Pet Gear and available from PetCo.com), the fixed front wheel, keeps the stroller super stable, but also not as easily maneuverable as its older cousin. I imagine it's fun for children to get tilted when a turn needs to occur, but they are already in a sitting position when in a stroller, while animals may be sitting up, and the floor changing angles dramatically all of a sudden may not be so welcome or easily understood. While the AT3 front wheel locked still enables one to "veer" up to 45 degrees off straight, I could easily get only about 20 degrees off straight with the Jogger, 30 degrees with effort. This is not your everyday stroller to go shopping and visiting with. However, if you want to, or you already spend time outdoors with your animals, then THIS IS the stroller for you! Having the Jeep Jogger on an unpaved hiking trail in a state park made a five-mile hike an absolute breeze. The places where I remember learning pretty fast to be aware of when I had to approach crevices and dips perpendicularly with the AT3 (front swivel wheel unlocked), the Jogger barely noticed! It was great that the fixed wheel could be maneuvered easily off asphalt, mostly because unlike paved roads, blades of grass, dirt and little rocks are NOT fixed. The sure rear brake gave me so much comfort on the bluffs, as I'm sure it was awfully nice for the passengers too.
The bonus if you make this your everyday stroller? You'll get an upper-body workout as well as working your legs, and your pets will get to experience the outdoors in ways and places they may never have gotten to go before, in a safe and comfortable way."
