"Piggies do not seem to like this, i think it also makes them uncomfortable due to the curvature. I would recommend this for other animals, but not guinea pigs. My little mouse has the small ball and she loves it!"

"When I adopted my newest guinea pig he came with a few supplies. This ball being one of them. I've had my new boy for nearly a month now and I've only recently put him in the ball. He loves to jump and climb (and jump off the couch) so I put him inside the ball so he would be safe on the floor. He looked around and then cleaned himself. I tried turning the ball just to see if he would move and he just sat down and refused to move.
The colour I had was red, and since it's a deep colour it is a little hard to see out of. I would suggest a lighter colour.
It has 2 doors so you can get your pet from either side, but the problem is the 2 doors make the plastic weaker and they break more than their smaller, 1 door counterparts.
Overall, great idea, great style...not for guinea pigs! I'm getting a rat soon so I'm going to try this on him..."

"Other animals love this, and I would recommend it. But, don't buy it for Guinea pigs. Their backs are not made to bend in the way they need to run in this. If you force your piggy to run in it, you will hurt his back."

"i have four cats and two ferrets to go along with my chinchilla. Well that means that it wouldn't be very safe for him to run around by himself. This is his way to get revenger for the cats jumping on his cage. He gets in his ball and is in constant movement running over the cats and around the house, even crashing into the stove a few times. Before he goes back in my room and sits in front of his cage letting me know he is ready to go back in his wonderful 7ft. tall homemade cage."

"this ball was satisfactory because i got these for my two degus, and at first they loved it... but then they just sat in it and chewed on the edges, trying to get out. They did like runnign in it, though. Good for pets that aren't chewers. I'm thinking of getting them a exersize pen instead."

"I got this ball for two of my rats arieona a cream hooded rat the age of 5 months and nik'e at the age of 1 and a half months old.Arieona likes to clean herself in it but nik'e loves to run around it it. I would defently recommend this product."

"I bought this for my guinea pig, Twitches, and he will not move when I put him in it. I've had him in there a couple times, but he seems terrified of it when it tips a little if he shifts around. I don't know if it's just him (he is very jumpy) or if it's that guinea pigs aren't impressed with this sort of thing anyway."

"I own the giant ball for my ferrets, but both of them absolutely hate it. They freak out and simply scratch at it trying to get out. I recommend not purchasing this for your ferrets, it would just be a waste of money."

"My teacher has degus, and they have a yellow ball. The only problem is putting the lid on and keeping it on because sometimes it comes off while in use (we had to run around and catch the degu- not fun). So if you use this ball or any other excersize ball, keep a eye on your pet."

"I just want to say, if you have a guinea pig, any wheel or "Run-About Ball" will hurt and severly damage your piggies back. Other than the description, this product was good. It was fun to watch my little friend (don't worry, not a guinea pig) roll around! Just watch your pet at ALL times and do not play with your friend by a stair case or out in the streets. Enjoy!"
