"My mouse used to run around in it all day he loved it!!!When he died i was very sad but i am going to get a new hamster soon!!! The ball was in my attic and it rolled down from the attic and down the stairs and it only cacked a little!(nothing was in it)It was very reliable and i hope my new hamster will appreciate a brand new one!!!"

"This is a great thing for hamsters to have. My hamsters Oreo and Bubba love it. It is great for them to get exersize and its very entertaining. :-) The only draw back is that they scratch it alot but i don't know if that is because their nails are two long. Oh well! I love it and so do they. :-)"

"The best idea!! My hamster runs around for hours in his ball, sometimes he gets stuck in chairs and stuff but this is a MUST for any one with a hamster!! I have 3 of them. They come in all colors I'd recomend a dark color because the clear shows the dirt and stuff more. There wonderful BUY!!"

"This is the very same ball and the very same color that my hamster used to win the race, sure he used his courage and wisdom and athletics skills but also thanks to this ball I have a formal legend hamster "Hamtaro". "I have one of these for my first gerbil. It is really good for exercise since he doesn't like exercise wheels. I did have the lid come off once though and had to chase him all over. Otherwise it's a good ball!"

"We just got two gerbils. One is a little older then the other. The older one loves the ball. After he was in it a few times he learned not to the furniture and he actually will roll around the coffee table. It is so much fun to watch. The little one has not mastered the big ball. I am going to get him a smaller one.
This is a great way for them to get out and exercise."

"All healthy rats love to exersise! So getting this was a good thing to go. My rats love it! The only problem was that the plastic wasn't completely together! I mean it wasn't put together veary great. I'm sure it was only that one that was like that! It still works great and it's a great product!"

"I have a Dwarf Hamster named Alice that I will be getting a Run-about Ball for, but I have not yet. I would just like to mention my friend's great success with hers. She had bought a beautiful silver Syrian Hamster that is just addicted to his ball! He basically can't live without it. It is very funny to see him pounding on his cage and rattling the door because he wants to come out--to play in his ball! Now, being the spoiled hamster he is, she lets him run around for about an hour while she does homework. That little guy has so much energy! He loves exploring every corner of the room, while in the safety of his ball. My friend makes sure to close her door, though, because her dogs could easily hurt her hamster. I think this is a good idea to use an enclosed room--and make sure it's tidy while you're at it! If you use the ball right, and use safety precautions, this toy will bring you great success! I think this purchase will be well-worth my money, and it's well-worth yours too! (I suggest getting the clear one so your hamster can see properly!)"

"My hamster, Gertrude, LOVES this ball. She goes crazy in it, and even though she doesn't understand the concept of walls, its fun to see her run around and have a good time. Even though it is her favorite place to relieve herself, its not hard to clean up [just dish soap and water] and she absolutely loves it; she practically climbs out of her cage when I show it to her!"

"OMG, i LOVE this thing!! and so does my hamster!! it's great, cause i can let her run around in it and no worries about getting lost or in crevices where it'll be hard to coax her out!!! i LOVE IT!! plus it gives them freedom. the only downfall is that if your pet pees in this, you'll have to remove them ASAP and clean it so they don't get wet tail, but that's no biggie, really, when it's such an awesome thing for you hamsters!! i say BUY IT NOW!! plus, it's so cheap!!"

"My hamster loves his ball. He runs all over the place in it. I use it on my hardwood floor so it rolls really well. However, I've also used it on carpet and it worked well there, too. My cat is a "rodent-hunter" and even he doesn't go anywhere near my hamster when he's in his ball. If anything, he avoids him because the hamster chases the cat. The only problems I have with this product are...
(1) It leaks. When the hamster relieves himself, it goes right through the cracks. It makes a total mess. It's worth it, though. Just expect to be doing a lot of clean-up.
(2) After a while, the lock stops working. My hamster escaped so I don't use it anymore. I suspect I just need a new one. I've had it for a while (this is the third hamster to use it). Just be aware of the possibility of escape once the ball gets old.
Even with the problems I have, I still recommend this product. It's the only way I know of to get my hamster really good exercise (besides his wheel). And it helps to curb his curiosity. He can explore new places and chase the cat while he's at it."

"I love this ball and my hamster does too. She runs around in it all the time and loved to go and explore the house that she rearly got to see before this. The clear ball is great since it helps them see where they are going better AND it is also easier to tell when it needs cleaned sometimes in colored balls it is harder to see when your pet may have peed while on their adventure and with the clear ball you know for certain when it is in need of a cleaning. One thing is, if you have dogs it may not be to good sometimes my dogs like to pick up the ball with its mouth or kicks it around but besides that she is perfectly safe in there for our other pets (cats) one of the pegs that keeps the lid shut however did break but I have had it for a abotu 1/2 year and the lid still closes tighlty, just make sure it is tighte because when i first got it it wasn't to tight and she escaped, so be carefull and also have a good idea where your hamster is and it is very easy to forgot about them in the ball so dont forgot to let them out. Besides the minor things and if you are careful this can be a great way to get your hamster some exercise in a easy and fun way."
