Had to exchange the smallest crate for the 2nd one in the series. Although my dog is under 10 lbs her head was right at the top of the crate. I would suggest taking weight and height into consideration before purchasing. Couldn't beat the price. Very satisfied.

It was super easy to put together. I like the black paint coating on the wire. Easy to open and close (for the human). My JRT is 18lbs and it's the perfect size for her.

Bought this crate for a 2 yr old German Shepherd who adopted me. She's a bit rambunctious and can be tough on things but she's good in the crate. I know some of the other reviewers weren't happy with the sturdiness of the crate. I haven't had any issues with her opening the door or compromising the crate in any way. My sense is that if the dog is comfortable in a crate, you'll be fine. If your dog hasn't been socialized to the crate and really wants to get out, they'll find a way. I will say that the guage on this crate is not as thick as the Mid-West crates - but then, it doesn't weigh as much either so it's easier to move it when needed. Overall, I'm VERY happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

I wasn't sure what size crate to get for the new dog we were adopting. He's a German Wirehaired Pointer / Portuguese Water Dog mix. We probably could have gotten the 700 series, but the 800 series gives him a little more space to lie down, turn around and sit/stand up with extra room. The crate is good quality and very easy to put together. He did manage to crack the edge of the crate pan on the second day as he's still an active puppy and not used to being crated, but it's not a huge deal right now and Petco sells replacement pans if we decide to get one.

I just bought this crate for my new puppy and it's a great product. I bought a larger size so my puppy can grow into it, I just use the divider so he doesn't have full range of the crate for now. Very pleased with this purchase!

It took less than 5 minutes to unfold and set up the crates. It securely keeps my dogs and my home safe. They get plenty of ventilation. I can keep an eye on them and they can watch what is going on around them. I found the crate mats with the raised edge fits best (not included) and keeps them warm and comfy. When I leave the doors open they go in on their own to sleep. Now if it only solves my housebreaking/marking issues!

Our mixed-breed lab is about 40 lbs but tall. Went with the larger-sized crate (800 series) to allow her the room to stretch out her legs when resting in the crate. She can also sit up and stand in the crate with plenty of head room. Crate was simple enough to assemble.

Bought two small crates for my yorkies, one 8lb and the other 5lb. Included with these crates were the extra piece to make the crate slightly smaller if needed which is a great feature. Both dogs seem to have plenty of room to move around and are quite comfortable to spend time in. The crates themselves are very sturdy and well made. Extremely easy to set up. Would highly recommend to others.

This kennel works great for my Yorkie. I got him as a puppy, so he outgrew the initial crate which was the same type just smaller. This one has lots more room for him and he can sit up in it. He goes inside for nap time all the time. Its also his safe haven when I'm running the vacuum.

This dog crate is very durable. It gives my lab plenty of room to move around and has even been used to allow my cat with a dislocated hip a chance to play.
