Good Cage For Budgies

"Today, I got this cage and a few other toys and stuff. The cage has a lot of space to put things in. I put 5 perches, 4 toys, 2 swings, and a ladder and there's still some space left. I'm getting 2 budgies on March 20, though one is going to be in a quarantine cage. The cage seem very good and the 2 perches that come with it are easily movable. There are only two problems. The doors are a little loose and the paint comes off a little, but besides that, it's a very good and big cage."

"This cage is nice when new, however, it is hard to keep clean. Although the bottom tray comes out, the grate is welded in and not easy to clean when finches are flying aroung. You can remove them, but this is stressful for the birds, and can be a hassle. Also, the cage rusts after a while."

"I have a single parrotlet in here, he loves it. There is a ton of space to fly around and hang nests and toys. I have four toys, a nest, two perches, and there is still a lot of empty room. Easy to clean too."

"Very nice cage for the price. Easy access doors over food dishes and in the middle. Has two nice doors in the middle. A birdbath fits over the smaller door in the front. The larger door is nice for getting large size finch nests out. Pull out tray for easier cleaning."

"I bought a few cages for my finches and canary and none of them have made me, and my birds, as happy as this cage. I am buying a second cage shortly as my bird family is growing. I currently have 4 finches and 1 canary sharing this cage. my 4 other finches are in a different cage... exactly why I want to get a 2nd cage [this cage!]. I just love this cage! and my birds have much space to play and fly."

Economical, roomy, no-frills cage

"After being adopted by an abandoned baby bird, I was suddenly in need of a cage. I looked online and couldn't believe how expensive a bird cage could be! After giving half-a-dozen websites the chance to show me a bargain, I chose this cage. I needed it right away so I went to my local PetCo to purchase it. Even though it wasn't on-sale in the store, it is a great value for the money! Most cages that are half the size are actually more expensive because they have clever shapes, like a real house or a globe. Does a bird really notice or care what the shape of his cage is? I needed room for this little birdie to practice his flying skills, so this inexpensive, roomy, no-frills cage was an easy choice. There are 3 doors - a large one that slides up, a smaller one within that large one that also slides up, and one on the side of the cage that has a spring to keep it closed (I have 4 cats so I'll probably secure it with a zip-tie to keep it locked). There are 2 cups with easy access doors, and a bottom tray that removes easily. The wire is white and spaced at approx. 1/2", great for small birds. Since the cage is rather wide, there are two carry-handles, one on each side. It's bulky but lightweight, if you have to move it."

I HAVE NEVER PURCHASED ANYTHING ON LINE BEFORE, AND WAS A LITTLE BIT UNSURE. AFTER READING THE PREVIOUS REVEIWS ABOUT WHAT A GREAT CAGE THIS IS, (AND IT IS! DITO ON EVERYONE ELSES COMMENTS!) I HAD TO TAKE A CHANCE. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW HAPPY MY BIRDS AND I ARE! IT IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR THEM TO FLY AND STRETCH THIER LITTLE WINGS, AND THEY HAVE BECOME MUCH MORE ACTIVE HAVING THE EXTRA ROOM TO ROAM AROUND IN. "I have bought many cages over the years and this is one, if not the best flight cage I've owned! Not only is it a very nice, portable size but it allows finches room to fly which is very important to their longevity and happiness! It is also the easiest cage to clean with the plastic slide out tray. I've had other cages with metal trays and they are much heavier and cumbersome to handle; this plastic one can be handled with one hand only. I would recommend buying several manzanita branches and placing them side to side so they can fly from one side to the other. This cage is perfect for 5-6 little finches and I highly recommend! It is also stackable and I had one on top of the other so it doesn't take up much space in your home."

"I purchased this cage a few months ago. Since then, I have acquired more finches and am about to purchase the second one.
This cage is perfect for finches because of their flight pattern. It is long enough for them to zip back and forth, and they do just that! The cage is easy to clean. I love the front access with 2 slide up doors that are different sizes, depending on what you are needing to do and being stackable is a big plus!
And on top of all of that, the price is fantastic!
I just told my daughter about it and she is going to buy one also for her finches."

"Finches need to fly. This cage is wide rather than high which suits the finch's side-to-side flight. It stacks well and is easy to clean. I have 2 cages now, almost ready for a 3rd; and I donated one of these cages to my vet's office to replace the cramped cage their finch pair was in. The staff reported that the birds were much happier! Parakeets and canaries might also like this cage but I wouldnt put anything larger in it."

"I have this cage the door is big enough for my tiel and green-cheeks to enter with ease. Though I would say it doesn't have quite enough space for them. It's a great Keet cage. The doors are great and it's easy to clean because of large frount access door and slide out tray. easy to give food and water because of sliding food doors. love this cage for keets. though think it would be a bit cramped for tiels and larger. LOL LoneStar just had a blast in this cage. room enough for a happy hut and 2 hanging toys. And bird can still fly safe. I put toys to the back of the cage. Loved my Keet."
