"We just got a new shih tzu puppy, and I have been gradually switching her over to the Natural Ultramix from the other low quality food the breeder had the puppies on. At meal times, the bag doesnt even have to make a noise, and as soon as its opened the puppy can smell the food from the other side of the house and comes running into the kitchen searching for her bowl. She LOVES it! And I love it because its good for her. She previously had a problem with eating her poo when we got her, and since the transition of puppy food, she no longer has the disgusting poo eating habit either. I would very highly recommend this product."

"Our family has 3 dogs, 2 very large Poms and we just bought an English bulldog puppy. With concerns about the bulldogs sensative skin, we decided to find a better dog food for the puppy. We bought 1 bag of the puppy formula, not knowing what to expect. The minute I opened the bag I could tell this was a very special puppy food. You can see the chunks of veggies and fruit! Maggie our bully LOVES the puppy formula. Our older Poms love it too. I had to order the adult dog formula for the poms, I am still waiting for that to arrive to try it out. One of my Poms LOVES apples and there are apples in this formula so I am guessing it will be a no brainer that the older poms will love the adult formula too. I have tried to mix the old brand we still have with the Castor and Pollux to just get rid of the other brand of dog food. We are going on day 3 of the old food still sitting in the dog bowl after they have picked out the Castor and Pollux. The dogs will NOT eat their old food. I have already added BOTH the puppy and the adult formula's to the "bowl" that Petco offers. I would HIGHLY recommend this puppy food to anyone. Now I have 30 pounds of our old dog food, that all 3 of the dogs refuse to eat so....Want to sell 30 pounds of our old dog food and you will have to pry the Castor and Pollux brands from my cold dead hands! The dogs love it love it love it."

"We have an English Bull Terrier and she is pretty picky when it comes to puppy food. We bought this product and our bullie LOVES it. The price is fair. We can actually see the pieces of dry fruit and veggies which is amazing! We (Subira B.) recommend this to any puppy picky eater out there! It's so healthy for them too!"

"Absolutely loved by our chihuahua! She eats all the fruits and veggies first, as if they are treats in her bowl. We compared labels of other foods, and this was the best choice based on the natural ingredients and NO FILLERS. Keeps her healthy and highly energetic. We've even gotten my sister's dog to switch foods, and they are extremely glad they did. Now their dog is healthier and has a beautiful coat."

"I have an 8 month old Chihuahua at home named Chuy; I recently went on a trip back East and ended up bringing back a 6 month old Fox Terrier named Lily. Lily had some stomach issues...loose stools and overall bad digestion. I tried a couple of other brand named foods but I finally realized they all had one thing in common...wheat and gluten. I switched to C & P and never looked back. Lily has had normal hard stools since. Both my pups love the food and I couldn't be happier they are getting great nutrition. The soft food looks good enough for a human. The chunks of fruits and veggies are their favorite. I would definetly refer this to a friend!!"

"My Lab/Chihuahua mix was weaned by his foster family on Beneful. However, when I brought him home, I found that it made his bowel movements difficult and he seemed bloated.
Worried that perhaps I was feeding him too much or not enough I checked online to find out what I could do. I found out a few negative things regarding the past history of Purina and what they used in there dog food. I then decided that that night I would go out and buy my puppy a better food. And I found one in this product.
This has everything that my puppy needs and I can see that in the food (real pieces of fruit in it and the first three ingredients are meat!). My puppy now seems healthier too. No longer bloated, or having bowel problems... my puppy is active and happy. He loves this food and eats it without hesitation (something that he never did with Beneful).
I love this product for my pet and would recommend it!"

"I would reccomend this product for the quality and healthfulness. However I will not buy it again simply because my toy poodle puppy is VERY picky when it comes to her dog food. She loves people food she finds and treats, but dog food is tricky!! I was hoping she'd love this and she did not. OH well....I'll keep trying!!"

"We have two healthy & energetic 4 month old Boxers Coco & Cisco (sister & brother). This is by far the best puppy & dog food on the market. Your brand goes over & beyond what other brands promise. We can't thank you enough for such wonderful products. At first, we tried the Organix puppy food, which our puppies loved. We also tried the Ultramix puppy canned food which is also excellent. We've also mixed the dry food with the canned food and they went nuts! Then we decided to try the Natural Ultramix puppy formula. WOW! We were totally amazed at how much they loveeeee this food. The fruits and vegetables and everything else just gets gobbled up in seconds. They are soooo happy and always begging for MORE! The treats are also very very good! "I recently adopted a chihuahua and introduced her to several other brands of puppy food but she wouldn't even touch them. I was shopping @ petco one day and saw this puppy food on sale so I bought it. My puppy ate the food as soon as it was served and she's been eating good since. "My husband and I purchased a Bouvier Des Flandres. We were directed from the breeder to purchase only the best food and was given a list from her Vet on specific ingredients we should look for. Castor and Pollux met and/or exceeded the requirements. Marius loves his food and his teeth, coat, weight and digestion are great. You get what you pay for. Worth every penny!"

"Hi,
I have a Chihuahua named "Toby", and he is a very picky eater. I have been feeding him Merrick for the past month, which he really does not like. He separates all of the vegetables out from the kibble. So, I decided to pick up a new brand of food and give it a shot. The Ultramix Puppy Formula is relatively the same price as Merrick and looks exactly the same, but for some reason the Ultramix won the taste test. The Ultramix is all natural, has a good amount of protein and vitamins and passed "Toby's taste test. Try it out, your dog will probably love it."

"my papillon wasnt eating much of her food so i started to read the ingredients. guess what corn meal,corn, by products, salt highfructose corn syrup. since when was it okay for our dogs to eat this stuff and its in 99.9 percent of all the dog food i checked! but not this one you can see the vegetables and all the good stuff that is in this and all the ingredients are wonderful! my dog is as happy and healthy as ever! if they had a ten star rating i would give it to this brand"

"I 100% recommend this food. I have 3 Yorkies and my oldest being 1, was a terrible eater. She would go days without eating and when she finally would eat she wouldn't eat much. After doing alot of research, I started looking for a natural dog food. After looking at what seemed like every dog food in the store I came across Castor and Pollux and it looked like the best one I'd seen by far (ingredent wise). Well my fussy dog loved it !!! She ate it all!! After 6 months on it, all of my dogs are healthier and their coats are soo shiney. My vet and breeder both commented on how fit and well the dogs were looking...I owe it all to this dog food!"

"I have 5 australian shepherds; one is a 3 month old pup. I decided to try Natural Ultramix Puppy Formula and am very happy with it. I like the fact that in includes dried fruits and vegetables in it. My older dogs were wanting to eat the puppy's food, so I got some of the Adult formula for them! I had been special ordering food and/or driving a long way to get a great food; now I can get what I need at any Petco! My dogs compete in dog sports and have to have the best nutrition. Thanks for carrying such a great food!"

"I recently got a new basset hound puppy. His name is charlie. We were looking for a product with alot of protein and with 26% this was what I decided to try. After the first week his coat looked awsome. I took him to my vet and they were raving about his coat. My vet decided to try this. After almost 4 months I have almost everyone on the street tell me how awsome his coat looks. And with the last visit to the vet she had said that this is the food that she will use for all her animals. It is expensive but It is worth every penny. Charlie is part of the family and when you want the best then you have to try this."
