"I bought this for my GSP puppy who is 10 weeks old. three days later the neck of the duck is hanging by a thread and within a week the squeaker went out. WHAT A WASTE."

"I have been looking for a stuffed animal for my 7 month old pup that would not be destroyed within minutes. Based on the reviews of this toy I thought this would be a good buy...Within 5 minutes of receiving this toy the duck's bill was completely removed from the body. NOT worth buying...unfortunately!!!! "We got a smaller version of this duck for our 2mo old pug. He was into everything, especially my shoes! He loves this duck! He chases it around the room and loves that it squeeks. It's been 2mo and the duck and squeeker are still intact. The best part is I can just throw it in the washer when it gets dirty!!"

"This toy is constructed well enough, that it does not tear apart easy. However the squeaker is another matter..... it quit squeaking 30 minutes after I gave it to my dog. He was rather frustrated with it when the squeaker quit working. My dog loves his squeaker toys and (believe it or not) does not tend to tear them up. I've had squeaker toys last a year, but this one not even an hour, and not because of the dog. So now I have a squeakerless duck. My dog is not the very destructive type even though he is an American Pitt Bull Terrier."

"This toy was purchased for our miniature pinscher daisy for a birthday gift. Our 2 year old german shepherd has since taken it over and to our amazement, the toy holds up to his rigorous chewing. Most toys of the stuffed variety end up disemboweled within minutes of reaching his mouth. He seems reluctant to kill this one. Both dogs really enjoy the honking noise the duck makes. I give this toy 5 paws!!"

"The good thing about this toy is that my dog loved the squeaky sound it makes, the bad thing is that I had to throw it out because the wings and the feet come off very easily when the dog goes to town chewing on it. I wouldn't recommend this to a pet owner who had a dog that was a chewer."

"I first bought Frida this duck when she was a puppy. It took 5 whole days for her to rip the seams apart (a world record for her). I've tried all the other AKC plush toys but she loves the Mallard the best. It is her security blanket. She has had her latest Mallards for almost 8 months and it's the first toy she brings me when I come home. It's the first toy she goes to when she wants to play. It's her only toy that she shows continued interest in time after time. One Mallard has sadly had his squeaker chewed to extinction but even after 7 months, the other Mallard is still squeaking strong. NO toys have even come close to Frida's love for her honking Mallards!"

"We purchased this toy for our puppy and it is by far his favorite. It is very durable, he has had it for over 4 months and it is his favorite which means he takes it everywhere. What a great product. I just ordered 3 more for back-up in case the first one ever rips."

"I have a very small shih-tzu that loves dragging this around. She loves to pull at seems and rip stuffing out but this holds up great. She's had it about 6 months and it is still in great shape."
