"I bought the Super Pet CritterTrail X for my hamster, and I had the problem where she takes bedding up to the upper wheel and sleeps there. This was fine, but really annoying when she would run in it all the stuff would bounce around. But after I added this second wheel, she just runs in that instead and used to other wheel purely as a bed. I set things up differently then recommended because I couldn't stick anything out the top. It gets a bit wobbly, but if you set it up right it's plenty sturdy. Ichiko likes every part, but especailly the wheel. She runs in it alot, but it's really quiet."

"My mice loved it they liked to climb up since there cage was only one story. But the wheel was hard to open and clean. It's still worth it though."

"this is a awesome kit exept for being a little wobbly and that my hamster,rosie,does not go into the loopie loop thaT MUCH.often the first place shell go when climbing up the tube is the outhouse. also, she tries to chew on the wheel when in it.thi wheel is almost silent,which is great.overall,this is a great adittion."

Good add-ons to a cage

"They are a great add-on to any SAM, Crittertrail, or Habitrail cages. I have a SAM Blue Knight Castle for my single Chinese Hamster, and now Roho can run up and down her tubes and in either one of her wheels. She also likes to nest in the green outhouse. For a very energetic Small Animal, these are perfect."

"This isnt the best product in the world.. my dwarf hamster, chesnutt, likes to climb, but for some reason he never goes past the bathroom thing... i think hes scared or he cant get there up in the loop-D-loop thing. But then again i only got him like three days ago and he was scared to go up tubes, so maybe he just has to get used to it. and all hamsters are different."

"My hamster definitely loves the addition- as of now she's living in the SAM princess castle. Usually makes a nest in the outhouse (I strongly advise taping the top to the bottom- I've witnessed her figure out how to pop it open). Wheel is a little better than the original but all these plastic wheels are really disappointing as far as noise level. It's not squeaking thats a problem- its the clunking of the "inner wheel" on the "outer wheel" (flat part that faces the cage). I've had to tie a rubber band around the axel to quiet it down but that only works half of the time. Sometimes it's very difficult to get a good night's sleep. Overall the kit is a good value for the price."

"I bought this because i was getting what i wanted plus more for a few bucks extra. But I am so glad I got this! My dwarf hamster LOVES the outhouse! I now have an easy to see through wheel! Two non-opposable-thumbs up!!"

"ii thought this product will help my cage since my hamster likes to climb but ii guess not...anyways i had to tigh a band so0 it could stay s0 when he climbs up it wont fall...the look out tower(bugsz)loves it the wheel omg....he brings hay over there every time ii take it out lol...well hamsters will be...the loop loop ummm ok but dwarf hamsters dont like them s0oo0...the tube is a little hard but other then that itsz ok(nena)(12)"

"A very exiting play/exercise playground. Hamsters usually sleep in the top and the outhouse works! it makes it easier to clean! Breaks Easily though. You can also attach more tubes! An Amazing product!"
