"I have a super Crittertrail cage so I thought that the Crittertrail expansion Kit2 would work with it. I was wrong. Well the loop-d-loop does, but the tower part does not. It leans, and the instruction said to place the ring on the inside of the cage for the Fun-nel J-tube, but it is to long. Now I will have to rig something to make it work. Poor engineering."

"this is so fun for your hamsters. my hamster hammie loves these tubes she cant stand them every time i put it on her cage she will go right to them but it is hard to take off."

"I bought this kit to make Yoda's "Blue Knight Habitat" more exciting for him.
I had a lot of fun putting new passageways for him to explore. The "loop de loop" is cool, its easy to take apart for cleaning and really fun to see your hamster in. The "toobs" are cool- although they can be hard to take apart and fingers hurt after working with them for a while.
This is a good item to get your hamster!"

Fun but a little difficult...

"These tubes are awesome, I love how my hamsters have extra room to run around.
The blue look-out area has air-holes underneath it, so crumbs and food would always slip through and make a mess, so caution.
They are also REALLY hard to take apart; they're connected SO tightly by the rings, it hurts my fingers to pry them apart. I avoid cleaning them as much as I can; I try to make my boyfriend rip them apart for me whenever he is around, ha.
Also, be careful taking them out of the hole in the cage; the plastic parts on hole (on the cage) made for these tubes to connect to can be broken off."

Loop not good for Dwarf Hamsters

"My daughter got this for her birthday. I think for the money this is a great set, unfortunately we have found that her dwarf hamsters don't like the loop d loop. We have even bribed them with their favorite yogurt treat to get them to come down into the loop. They won't do it and I think it is because there is nowhere for them to grab onto to climb down since they are smaller than the normal hamster. We have also found that with the S.A.M. tube gaps are too big for the dwarfs feet to grab onto when climbing. If you have a regular hamster, I think that they would love this set."

"I like this a lot. My long-haired hamster Leslie loves this product. I have two cages so I can connect them thanks to CritterTrail Expansion Kit 2. Next I am going to get CritterTrail Expansion Kit 3 and then 1. Adding tubes to a cage is a lot of fun!"
