"I have 2 chihuahuas and a lab. Over the past 7+ years, I've tried many different dry and canned foods. I've read several articles on what types of ingredients to look for in dog food, and while I'd love to have time to make 100% all natural food for my girls, who has that kind of time? I decided several years ago that this Nutro Natural Choice was an adequate balance between nutrition and convenience for us. The small bites work great for the chihuahuas, and I've been incredibly happy with their weight (both have stablilized) and with their coats, stools and teeth. Last month, I had to pick up another brand of food because I was out and couldn't make it to get more Nutro. My older chihuahua's stomach swelled, and she had a horrible time adjusting, even with the leftover Nutro mixed with the other brand. I will never do that again! I highly recommend this product!"

"When I poured this food into my doggy's bowl his little tail started wagging so fast! Unfortunately, I had run out of the food I normally feed him, so I could not slowly transition him over to the Nutro, and I was worried he'd get the runs, but this food is so good for him that he was better than ever! AND he loves it, too!!"

"I have a chow chow puppy named Phoenix and she is very picky with food.I brought her to Petco and this lady that works in Petco recommended this product and she said it was ok for puppies to eat it because its small bites and my puppy loved it.She is not still after she eats like she does with other dog food and she doesn't need to use the bathroom that much you should use this product."

"When my Mini Schnauzer was a puppy he had schnauzer bumps all over his body. His PetCo trainer recomended I start using Nutro Natural Choice small bites dog food as it was supposed to help with skin problems. It took a few months for him to completly clear up but the bumps and iching are now gone. It has now been two years and his skin and coat are very healthy and and he is a very healthy and happy dog."

"This Lamb and Rice formula is always consistent and keeps my dog fit at age 9. Before trying this type, which I have been using for about 5 years, he had stomach problems. When I can not find it at a local distributor, I order it from PETCO where it is always in stock and delivered on the day promised."

Quality Dog Food and My Dogs Love It!

"We have 2 dogs (1 Weimaraner and 1 Lab Mix). Our Weimaraner has had some digestive problems since he was a puppy. Our Lab Mix is a very picky eater. Our vet recommended Nutro Max Natural Choice Lamb and Rice when they were both pups. Our Weimaraner will be 11 years old in Sept '08 and he is still going strong and our Lab Mix will be 5 in June '08 and she has the energy of a puppy! When the Small Bites came on the market we immediately started buying it because it is works great for BOTH our dogs, We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DOG FOOD!"

"They were a little put off at first but I gave them time and a day later instead of picking through it... they ate it all. It's been nothing but empty bowls ever since. They love it and I love it because it's healthy for them! Will never go back to grocery store named dog food. You want something that your pups don't spend 40 times chewing on because it soo big... the sizes of these bits are just right!"

"we had dallas on purina and he wasn't really eating it, so we started searching for a new food and cam along Nutro. We got lamb and rice do to his sensitive stomach and he loves it. He can't wait for breakfast, lunch and dinner."

"I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. I always do lots of research when it comes to my animals and Nutro had the best ratings out there. But improving a dog's coat in a week? That was pushing it. When I adopted my miniature dachshund, she was eating Pedigree Small Bites. Her beautiful long red hair was dull and lackluster, and she had dandruff. After the transition to Nutro Small Bites was made, it took one week and one day for her coat to completely come out of it's shell. My pup is just gorgeous now, and steals the show wherever we go. I am so happy with the results, I will highly recommend the brand Nutro to all dog owners I come across! You have to try it!!"

The BEST Purchase Ever

"We went to our local Petco and we were at a loss because the Pug that we had just adopted was shedding CONSTANTLY. He was also itchy and having overall skin allergies. One of the ladies that worked there was so kind and although we knew Pugs were sensitive, she explained exactly what could be causing it and pointed us in Nutro's direction. We know noticed a difference within a couple of days. So happy with this and will stick with Nutro!"

"My Shih Tzu had lost hair, scratched constantly and had red sore eyes from allergies. The vet put her on medications including benadryl daily for life. My dog was miserable. My groomer mentioned this dogfood as a possible alternative to the medications and I jumped at the chance since Muffy was so miserable on the meds. She is now completely healed and happy. This is Terrific food!"

"I've always purchased Natural Choice for my pets. One dog had skin problems that looked like dandruff. My vet recommended this food and not only did his skin clear up, but his coat improved so much! It was soft and shiny! Now I have small dogs and I'm so glad they have the same great food available in smaller bites for my little ones!"

"I have 3 Shihtzu's and a toy poodle and not 1 out of my 4 dogs will touch this food. I have even tried hand feeding them and still no luck. I will stick with the Iams small bites. I purchased 2 bags of this food and now I will take it to the local humane society and hopefully it will be used there."

"I started buying this product about 4 months ago becuase my Lab was having terrible problems with itching and chewing. He was developing bald spots from chewing hisself. After making sure it wasn't fleas, I did research to find a food that would help him. It did take several weeks but now his fur has grown back and, his coat is beautiful and he seems a lot happier and comfortable. Although my other dogs didn't have the problems he did I still feed this to them. If it helped him with better nutrituion I'm sure it is better for the other two also."

Finally I can relax!!!!!

"I wanted a Westie since I was in Jr High, but my parents would never allow me to have one because they didn't want to get "stuck" with it when I moved out, as they had three dogs of their own at the time. Well, now finally on my own, they bought one for me and little Wyatt's been here for a little over a month.
I started getting worried because his skin started turning really pink! He kept scratching and itching and constantly had the runs. His coat was tinged yellow and it kept getting worse each day. I took him to the vet and she said that he looked very healthy, but that he definately had some type of allergy. I immediately called my aunt, with 4 Westies of her own and she said it's common for Westies to have allergies to chicken products, which the vet had also mentioned. I was at the end of my wits between searching in stores and online for anything that didn't contain any chicken products, but I found other brands use chicken fat or byproducts even in their beef flavored foods. My aunt has her food imported and her dogs eat better and more expensive food than I do, so I couldn't go that route. I went into Petco and instantly the gentleman I explained the situation to took me to Nutro. Not even a hesitation. He guaranteed me that it would help or to bring the bag back and I'd be able to try something else. Wyatt loves it!!!! It's been about a week, his coat is white white white. He doesn't lay around my apartment anymore. He actually has more energy and his skin rash is going away. THANK YOU!!!! I love my pup and hated not being able to help him. But now, I'll never feed him anything else!"

"Wednesday is a mix breed I fell in love with and adopted back in 96'. I found as the years went by she kept scratching and gnawing at her paws. A vet told me she had allergies. We went through several dog foods. Then one day in Petco, a lady was handing out samples and coupons for Nutro. I told her about Wednesday and she directed me to Nutro Natural choice lamb meal and rice small bites. Wednesday fell in love and her gnawing her feet stopped. Just as another lady said how she had to feed her pet another food and it made her pet sick, same thing happened to Wednesday. She deserves the best and I'm just glad I finally found it for her."
