Best purchase ever

"This is my first canister filter. I was a little nervous. I thought it would be complicated. The DVD was a great help. The filter is wonderful and a great investment. The water is crystal clear, and I can't hear a thing. I would not hesitate to buy another one."

Good for the price

"I've only used Fluval filters. I find them to do what they are supposed to do. However I have to buy a new one around every two years for different reasons. This particular one, 305, is too hard to open so I have to use a screwdriver and eventually the seal breaks and it leaks. They say to lube it which I do, but it doesn't solve the problem. I have yet to find a solution for this."

Great Pump

"The only trouble I have had is getting the two shut offs to go up..the one bends and sometimes falls out and is hard to get back in..when together it runs great, I use mine four my four turtles in very large tank."
