"The water bottle leaks and the cage flores won't stay in place so i had to tie them to the cage wire. But the wire woulden't go together at first so we just pushed them together in the frame. The wheel squeeks a little but not that bad."

"I just got my first hamster and she loves the cage! But my dad had to use a rench to put the cage bars together and it took about an hour and a half to put it together. The weel was silent for a night or two, but the weel is so loud I have to put the cage in my closet!!! Also the water bottle drips and when my hamster goes to the bathroom it fall out thru the bars and weirdly inouf threw the tube!! My hamster also stays in the tube all day becaus the cage is small. This is probably better for a robor or a drarf hamster, not a teddy hamster or a large one. I'm going to bo buy a new bigger and fun cage tomorow.

"This cage is pretty good but the wheel is very loud and my hamster kept getting out of the carrier cage door so we had to tie it shut. But it is still good and Cookie (my hamster) loves crawling up and down the tubes and using the stairs."

"this cage is terrible. it came with a cracked wheel and missing pieces. he has escaped from the top bed and got into the heating duct. i have got to get him a new cage. WE ARE SO LUCKY WE FOUND'em. I WILL NEVER RECOMEND THIS TO A FRIEND!"

"My hamster discovered how to open the door on the top carrying cage. Has escaped twice and has been found, escaped a third time even after door had been wedged shut. Cannot find him this time. Would never purchase this cage again."

"Our hamster really enjoys exploring this cage. The bottom floor has enough room for a medium sized hamster house and the high sides keep bedding inside the cage. The second and third levels have room for water and food and include lots of places for your hamster to crawl through. The fourth level is a removable carrying case. Unfortunately, the latch on the top door is not very secure and our hamster escaped after 1 night in the new cage. We secured the top door with extra wire. A good purchase!"

"It took me over an HOUR to put this cage together and when I did, and picked it up by the carrier cage handle it fell and all came apart. The water bottle leaks continuously. My hamster escaped from the cage because the slats were slightly widened in one place in order to put the pieces in. And I have no idea how I am to clean this without taking it all apart.

"I've used nothing but CritterTrails since I've had my hamster, Martha. I broke one of the pieces cleaning it the other day and decided to buy her the SAM Here & There 2. I love the look of it and love the tube with the different openings and how the different levels had access to the tube. Well, when I got home to put it together I was missing about 3 different pieces (the wheel, wheel clip, food dish) and 1 piece was broken. The two different levels were cheap plastic and very flimsy. Needless to say, I am returning it today. I do not recommend this product and will just order the replacement parts for my CritterTrail 2. I think the CritterTrails are much more cozy and better quality anyway."

"I am a 13 year old girl and I got my first hamster a week ago. I purchased this cage and brought it home along with Claira(my hamster) it took about five minutes to assemble. It looks really cool and Claira loves it! I do have a couple of complaints though, hamsters as you know like to run on their wheels at night. When Claira runs her fastest the entire cage shakes and makes a little noise, not so much that it wakes you up but enough for you to notice. Also, the water bottle it comes with leaked....ALOT I had to go and buy another one. Another commplant is that when you want to get your hamster out it is difficult to sqeeze your hand in and grab them. Other than those things it is really easy to clean and the carry case is wonderful because Claira loves her ball and sometimes doesn't want to come out. When that happens, all I have to do is take the carry case down and plop her in the case. The tubes look skinny but Claira isn't the skinnest hamster(she is a Teddy bear hamster) and she fits in them perfectly. I would reccomend this cage to everyone who loves their hamster, they have a great time running around and going up and down in the tubes."

"This is a good cage... i got it yesterday, when i got home i started to put it together, and i thought it ws actually pretty easy... it did have a couple thigs bent, but that was easy to fix. This is a great cage overall its big and colorful and sterdy!"

"My hamster Donut, is lovin this cage! if your hamster is small then get this cage! but just tie the doors so that your hamster can not get out. if u want your hamster to have fun, be happy and enjoy life then get this cage! oh, the only little bitty thing that is a little difficult is that the cage is a little hard to clean but not too bad. Don't worry about that, it's not that bad. My hamster Donut loves this cage and 99% that your small animal will love this cage too! :)"
