"This is a wonderful cage, although it is a bit small - it is still a good size for a mouse, gerbil or dwarf- the traveling case is quite handy, it is a good palce to keep pet when cleaning! My hamster Tim loves the elevator! If you are looking for a cage- this is the one!! "

"My hamster Daisy loves it! It isn't as big on the bottom as I thought it would be, but having the multiple levels is helpful and gives it more room. The top level that you attach is a lil shaky, so we didn't even put it in, but she doesn't seem to mind. Daisy stays on her wheel most of the time. If you get this- make sure you go buy the silent spinner. The wheel is terribly loud!"

"My daughters Hamster loves her cage. It has four levels. Everthing came with it. She loves the pink tube. You wont be disappointed. Be careful when you put it together so you dont crack the cage."

"its horrible to clean but i got used to it my hamster,tobi, loves his cage but i had to change the water bottle because it leaked he hasnt escaped yet so thats good the wheel rattles but i got used to it. if the wheel squeks just put olive oil in between the thing that holds it up and the wheel"

"I'm a first time hamster owner, I did not know a thing I needed to get. I looked at reviews and saw that this was a good cage. First of all its very sturdy, my hamster has not even come close to coming out or escaping. I like how it has a travel cage. Its roomy so my dwarf hamster has not chewed through it [although I'm positive she could]. This cage provides a spot to sleep, eat and play. I would recommend this product to any first time hamster owners."

"A good cage. I have a dwarf hamster (love her lots!) but she is a little on the small side. After reading the reviews on this cage I was worried about her being able to use the vertical tube. So I brought it home and sure enough vertical tube was no good for her, she would only go in to the bottom of the tube and stare up with longing. Fortunately I have been given the gift of ingenuity. I went down to the hardware store and bought myself some hardware cloth(1/4 inch wire mesh) and cut a strip about 2 inches wide and lined the inside of her tube. This required no glue or extra wire because its pretty tough stuff(stands up all by its self when pushed up against the walls of the tube). Now she loves the vertical tube. She goes up and down all night and day. I also believe this technique can be applied to other vertical tubes such as if I wanted to create a giant hamster castle of tubes (I might just do that). Also be careful with the mesh when cutting it, it can be SHARP. Cut off all pointy edges before putting it in the tube for hamster safety."

"My Siberian Dwarf Hamster, Matthew just died. :( But this was his first cage at my house. My parents are divorced so i looked at this cage at Petco and it sounded interesting. So we brought Matthew and the cage home (with other things for the cage and Matthew) and he felt very at home in this cage. The wheel is silent and fantastic TRUST ME. Matthew used to run on it so much-he loved it. Although he was scared the first couple of weeks to go up the tube, he got used to it and soon started hiding treats, eating food and most of all, sleeping in the traveler. The traveler is great I always used it to transport him anywhere. But if you get this cage DON'T HOLD THE TRAVELER BY THE HANDLE, HOLD IT ON THE BOTTOM!!! After all, this is a great first-timer cage for new dwarf hamster owners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I got this cage for 39.99, which i thought was a little bit too much to pay for just a cage. But boy was i wrong! This cage is worth every cent! My hammy (Sasha) just loves playing in the bubble-tube, and i love taking her on walks in the little plastic carrier at the top! It came un-assembled, but the assembly didnt take too long. It is very easy to clean, and Sasha just loves everything about it! When you need to clean the cage, just lure your animal to the top, with a treat, trap her inside the carrier, and clean the cage! It's soo easy! This cage has lasted me and Sasha 4 years now! Nothing is wrong with it now, and i doubt anything will be. (knock on wood :] )

"I wonder if the people that liked this cage has ever cleaned it!! It is very difficult to put together, and back together after cleaned. My gerbils chewed up everything inside of it. I have only had this cage for a month and I already am looking for a new one. I have 2 gerbils and I am now looking to see if I can buy 2 cages and connect them in some way. I would NOT reccomend this cage to anyone with gerbils. It might be okay for a small animal that doesn't chew plastic, but still very difficult to clean."

"This is a pretty good cage actually. I got it for my hamster, Turbo and he liked it actually. It is a good cage but when we had to move to my cousins house the little carrier at the top of the cage broke and he escapes so I had to put my math book on top it for a while. Over all its a good cage for hamsters, mice, and other small animals"

"this cage is perfect for my dwarf hamster milton. he loves the cage and also a good way to make your hamster stay away from "eating" the cage is to put some hamster chews by were he bites the cage. the wheel sqeaks a little but some olive oil will do the trick."

"this cage is junk!, i would love to have taken it back to petco and have them put it together for me, because 2 hrs later i felt like breaking it with a sledge hammer, the "floors" kept falling down, the wires kept bending,the instructions are hard to figure out, i had to look at the box to put it together, and now that it is together, i am wondering how are we going to clean it without taking the whole thing apart, i hope grover likes the cage because i dont!"

"i bought this cage after i had my hamster for about half a year. in his old cage, it was very space with only a few occupants for him to do. so i bought thins one. when i got it, it was a pain to put together. some of the plastic on the cage broke. but i liked it so far. about three months later, my hamster pablo could not stop chewing on it and he broke the plastic tabs that hold it down. the wires bend easily so they can, without trying, escape. and it exaggerates oders coming from his cage. over all i would not recomend this cage. i am now getting the blue knight 2 level hamster cage. it looks so awesome and i think pablo will love it. it also comes in pink and its called pink princess 2 level hamster cage."

"My hamster Skittles (RIP) loved this cage...He climbed his heart out. After having him for over a year, he was able to get out through the top. He got out a couple of times but not that bad. I would recommend this product the only thing is that when they let out their bodily fluids, it sticks to the plastic and if you dont get it off it will stink up the cage....Overall i would recommend this product.

"I had this cage for my hamster when I first got it but then switched to the Here and there 3 with 5 stories. This was an awesome cage and I enjoyed it alot. The here and there 3 is fun, too. I like this one's size a little better than the one I have now, and I have nothing to say that is negative about this cage except the wheel that came with it was cheap. Other than that it is a great cage and I like the Penn-Plax stuff alot. Happy shopping and thanks."
